Director | Motion Artist
Hi Frances!
It's a pleasure to e-meet you.
I'm looking for work opportunities. Remote freelance or project-based work. I'm based in NYC, but I can travel anywhere for shoots.
As a 'full-stack' creative, I bring a complete set of skills. I'm a live-action director and motion artist, capable of taking a project from its earliest stages to completion. Whether it's a shoestring budget where I serve as a one-person production team, then edit and deliver, or a larger project where I oversee production and post, I adapt to meet the project's needs.
For motion, I animate and also design as needed. I do broadcast, digital, OOH, and even deliver animations as JSON files for interactive website animations.
Over a decade in the ad business, I've worked in-house across several Omnicom agencies, including BBDO. In the last few years, I went on my own and worked as a vendor for agencies or direct clients.
I saw that you work on Cadillac. That sounds exciting. I've worked across many verticals, including tech, travel, finance, consumer goods, and health. But no cars yet. However, my 7-year-old daughter and I are defending our championship title as we enter our second Girl Scouts pinewood derby racing season.
Thanks!
Axel
Social Campaign docu-series following the winners of a creative mentorship contest. Low budget, one-man band production. Also responsible for editing, color, sound mixing and final delivery.
A Campaign for Amazon Pay's benefits. I directed and produced these spots with a modest budget, so we had a proper crew and cast. I also designed and animated all on-screen graphics, colored, edited, and delivered the final spots to Amazon.
A web series I created, produced, and directed. Each episode is 100% improvised on the spot. All we figure out beforehand is the day, time, and location to meet up. I designed and animated the intro.
It's here - might as well embrace it. Here are a few experiments in AI. It's early days, and every month is a new, radical push forward. But here are three samples of my experiments.
Want to see more? There's more to share. Please LMK what you'd be interested in seeing.
My parents took this photo moments before they arrived in New York to start their new life in the States. Yeah, dope. I know.
Before directing commercials, I was famous in Canada. I love Canada.
I love sharing the joy of filmmaking with my daughters. Spielberg would be so proud [of me].
I am perfecting my work as an impressionistic latte artist. This piece is entitled, "Nice try, daddy, but that's not a heart."
